Saito Kinen Festival Matsumoto
The Saito Kinen Festival Matsumoto is the former name of an annual classical music festival held in August and September in Matsumoto, Nagano, Japan. Since 2015, the festival has been known as the Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival.
Founded in 1992 by music director Seiji Ozawa, the festival's resident orchestra is the renowned Saito Kinen Orchestra.〔(Bio of the Saito Kinen Orchestra at www.bach-cantatas.com )〕
